Cancer doesn’t have to be a battle. There is another way.

I am a psychologist, a mum to two wonderful girls, and in 2024, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. The current narrative around cancer, one of fighting and battling, felt exhausting to me. Instead I have chosen a different path – one of introspection and gentle healing and one which is fueled by curiosity as opposed to fear.

This blog is a space where I document my journey, not as a war to be won, but as a process to be understood. I explore the emotional, psychological and physical aspects of living with cancer, drawing on my background in psychology and my experiences as a mother. For me, it’s not about being relentlessly positive or endlessly strong – it’s about being real, open, and compassionate with myself along the way.

If you’re looking for a space that embraces healing with honesty and curiosity, then come and walk this path with me.
